Even though sometimes I get the blues on Sundays, thinking about gearing up for a new week, I've really come to enjoy them.
Now that football season is in full swing, William isn't around as much as he used to be on Sundays but I still luck out occasionally and he makes me blueberry or chocolate chip waffles while I wake up. Reading the Sunday paper. Not feeling pressured to get going early for any reason.
Today I woke pretty late (and I still need more sleep I think), and made trips to Trader Joe's and Target, getting groceries in order. I made a homemade mac-and-cheese hot dish (casserole for you non-Minnesotans), and cleaned up. Now I have the evening to read, watch my weekly cryfest (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition), finish the paper, have a snack, and snuggle up with a newly-groomed Mo and a cute husband.
It's getting colder and colder out, which makes me enjoy the comfort food and blankets all the more, even if I resist the idea that my birthday, and thus winter, are right around the corner. I can't believe I'm going to be 28. It's just weird.
That's really all I've got. It's been a nice, quiet day.
