That's such a pretty color -- I think it would look great on you. It's more of a strawberry blonde rather than a true red, so it would be a good baby step into the redhead world!
If I can do it, you can do it. It's scary at first, but I'm telling you it'll look good, so the initial scariness goes away once you see it. Now that I can see my old color at the roots, I'm like YUCK. It's not even a color, just drab.
I've always thought about going red too. It'd be a bit shocking on me. Why not go for it? At least you can say you tried it if you hate it and never wonder "what if". On the up side, you might love it and be so happy you tried. :)

Clearly, yes. Red hair is gorgeous, especially that shade. Just go for it, and if it's awful, fix it later. But it won't be awful.
You can definitely pull it off! I love Amy Adams' hair. Go for it!
