I know I shouldn't even worry about this, because what can you do? BUt I'm really, really hoping it wont' rain on my reception day, since you know, we're having it outside (we do have a tent) and all.
A couple days ago, we were in the clear. Now it looks like 40 percent chance of rain on Saturday and it's been raining CONSTANTLY since we got home a week ago.
I can't take it anymore! No more rain! No rain Saturday.
Think sunny thoughts!

Don't worry! The weather is not something you can control, so it's not worth the stress. Your guests won't care either way - we're there to see you and celebrate with you. We can drink and eat and party easily enough, rain or shine.

But...now may be the time to invest in an awesome gigantic umbrella that will at least look good in photographs. Better a huge chic black umbrella with a classic curved handle instead of a stupid-looking little fold-up one, no?

Oh don't worry, it's just getting all the rain over with now so Saturday can be beautiful. And if I'm wrong, people will still want to hang out with you, so it'll be great.

I don't know how it was for you, but it rained for my friend's wedding on Saturday in NY. Crossing my fingers that the weather was good for you!
