good for a laugh

please, please, please go do yourself a favor and read the latest entry on doahleigh's blog. i just laughed myself sick over her recounting her appearance on the bozo show. and never fear, clown haters: i am too, and i made it through.
i hate clowns. i've always been scared of them. the way i look at it is this: who would want to dress up, put creepy makeup on, and touch little kids? pedophiles, that's who. i can remember running away from one at a parade, when he/she tried to touch me. then my mom bought me a Strawberry Shortcake mylar balloon to make up for the trauma. when i got home, i showed it off to my brother, who went outside and, intending to just rile me, let go of the balloon. he meant to grab it before it floated off, but off it went, just out of his reach. it was a bad day. meltdown city.
i was in marching band, too. and i was at a lot of parades that summer. and i ran away from a LOT of clowns. and tried to do it without looking like i was TERRIFIED of clowns. because i was 17 and i should have not been so upset, right? i'm cooool.
just a year ago, i was walking through the lobby of where i work, when about seven clowns passed by. i grabbed my coworker's hand and gasped before i had a chance to control myself. yes, yes, i was 25 and still scared of clowns.
now i'm 26.5. and i still couldn't guarantee i could play it cool in front of clowns.

internet installation on friday! with the promo price! that's right, just call me erin. erin brockovich.

more later... i have a deadline approaching so i must run.

Hey thanks for the linkaliciousness!

It seems a lot of people have the clown phobia. Maybe that picture wasn't the best idea.

I don't fear clowns, but I'm facinated by people who do. Is it the big nose, make up, crazy pants...?
